Kay Nagel was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1943. She discovered her art talent while in grade school, entering and winning many contests through her high school years. Kay's dream was to attend a prestigious art school and live her life making art - but she wasn't able to realize that dream until she moved to Colorado in 1982. Kay attended Pikes Peak Community College and was able to work with the Art Student League alongside Herman Raymond ,Tom Owen and Martha Mann. Kay's uses oil, acrylics, and watercolors to showcase her love of painting lanscapes. Her work has been featured on the front page of a local magazine.
